The roots of the plant harrow gather before flowering (April-May) or after flowering (August-October). They are easily removed after the rain when towing a single branch. Action and use. The main action of the harrow is a diuretic, diaphoretic and laxative. It prescribes the essential oil. Harrow preparations are used primarily in fluid retention in the body - heart failure, kidney inflammation and edema of any origin, obesity. Have a good effect in renal stone disease and gallstones. Usage. Recommended harrow can be used in the form of an infusion in order to keep the content of essential oil. Two tablespoons roots harrow is brewed with 400 ml. boiling water.
