Corn oil containing unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and other substances, has a favorable effect on lipid metabolism and reduce the cholesterol level in blood. Usage. Corn silk is applied in the form of infusion or fluid extract. Two tablespoons of finely chopped herbs pour 400 ml of boiling water. Boil 3 minutes and strain. By infusion is taken three times daily 80-120 ml before meals.
